Four Seasons Tokyo Marunouchi reopens after full transformation

Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi has reopened after a full transformation, including “more considered guest experiences and expanded concierge programming” for a deeper connection to Tokyo.

Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi has reopened after a full transformation, including “more considered guest experiences and expanded concierge programming” for a deeper connection to Tokyo.

The 57-suite luxury hotel minutes from Tokyo Station has been redesigned to reflect Japan’s stately manors with a transformed lobby, suites and new experiences.

Rooms have been redesigned as a private residence, with designers “deconstructing the conventional hotel room layout to introduce thoughtful changes for a natural, unhurried flow between different areas – much like a well-appointed home”.

Teal green and dusty pink make up the colour palette with cast-bronze lighting, artisan ceramics and custom furnishings.

In-room minibar cabinets have handcrafted Japanese tea sets with premium local teas and traditional rice crackers, while a “refreshed” 24-hour in-room dining menu offers Japanese and Western-style dishes.

General Manager Jens Wycisk says the result is a place of serenity and connection.

“Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi has long been the city’s premier boutique retreat.

“Our recent renovation and renewed commitment to personalised service reaffirm this promise for today’s travellers, bringing focus to serenity, connection and individuality.

“Meticulously curated spaces, paired with our team’s intuitive care, create the kind of meaningful encounters that stay with guests long after departure.”

Meanwhile, the hotel’s French restaurant SÉZANNE was recently named among Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants.

Executive chef Daniel Calvert says the recognition “isn’t something it takes lightly”.

“Each year reflects a different moment in our journey, and this one feels particularly special. I’m deeply proud of the consistency, growth, and the spirit that has defined us.

Wycisk adds, “SÉZANNE’s success has always been driven by the strength of its people and a clear, shared vision”.

“As we celebrate this recognition, we are excited to build on that foundation and continue evolving with respect for what has been created and excitement for the future.”
