Japanese small luxury resort group FUFU has opened its first Tokyo hotel, making the new flagship FUFU Tokyo Ginza the ninth location in its property portfolio and creating a resort retreat in the 24/7 city, complete with natural hot springs and a private garden.
The petite FUFU Tokyo Ginza is now open, offering just 34 guestrooms and 11 room types, each with its own private garden and natural hot spring baths, in Tokyo’s luxury district of Ginza.
The landscape design incorporates distinctive Japanese volcanic and basalt stones, while each room’s garden features traditional flora and trees corresponding to the name of the guestroom.

Inside the property, thoughtfully designed spaces, such as a souvenir shop, and seasonal Japanese cuisine further enrich the experience.
These include Yusora, a rooftop lounge and garden with daybeds and natural hot-spring footbaths sourced from the seaside city of Atami in the Shizuoka Prefecture southwest of Tokyo.

There are also two onsite dining concepts: GINZA GAYU, an 86-seat, all-private-dining Japanese restaurant on the hotel’s 12th floor for breakfast and dinner; and SUSHI GINZA, an eight-seat counter omakase experience with two dinner sessions.

Guests can also enjoy curated experiences in and around Ginza, from hands-on traditional crafts and sumo training visits to private cruises and helicopter tours.

The new hotel is located at the iconic Ginza 1-chome intersection, conveniently connected to the Tokyo Metro Ginza-itchome Station, and marks the brand’s first foray into a major city.

FUFU Tokyo Ginza is the latest addition to the small luxury resort collection with locations in Atami, Kawaguchiko, Karuizawa, Kyoto, Hakone, Nara and Nikko.

Seven FUFU properties have received Michelin Key distinctions for two consecutive years (2024, 2025), the highest number among Japanese hotel brands.
