Hilton has recorded a record year of growth with nearly 100,000 rooms added to its portfolio and is expected to add three new luxury and lifestyle hotels per week throughout 2025.
This year alone, Hilton says it will add more than 150 luxury and lifestyle hotels around the world.
Recent and upcoming openings include the Waldorf Astoria New York, Waldorf Astoria Osaka, Waldorf Astoria Rabat Salé, Conrad Athens The Ilisian, and Conrad Hamburg, the first LXR Hotels & Resorts in India, and the debut of Curio Collection by Hilton in Thailand.
The hotel group has also just marked its first anniversary in partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), adding on average more than one SLH property every week, with a total of 450 in the collection.

Hilton Vice President John Rogers says, “Hilton’s luxury portfolio is a priority growth category for us, meeting the needs of guests worldwide who are looking for incredible hotel stays in some of the world’s most exclusive destinations”.
“Our partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World is key to that growth, helping hotel owners benefit from Hilton’s strong commercial engine by connecting them to more than 226 million Hilton Honors members.”
He says SLH hotels participating in the exclusive partnership with Hilton have seen significant performance increases since the partnership began, with traffic to SLH properties via Hilton’s digital booking channels “rising notably”, increasing 78 per cent year-over-year in July.

Rogers says, “For hotel owners, access to Hilton’s global distribution network, marketing scale and the award-winning Hilton Honors loyalty program means SLH properties benefit from increased visibility and bookings through Hilton’s direct channels, while maintaining their unique identity and independent spirit”.
Small Luxury Hotels of the World Chief Operating Officer Richard Hyde says, “Our exclusive partnership with Hilton continues to deliver outstanding results”.
“This has been our strongest collaboration, driving significant bookings for our participating member hotels.”

Recent additions to the partnership include:
- Angkor Village Hotel, an SLH Hotel (Cambodia): Dine by lotus pools in the gardens, learn Cambodian cuisine from a master chef or unwind in the spa. The lower floor garden view room incorporates local art, while the upper floor water view room overlooks the central lotus pond.
- Sundy Praia, an SLH Hotel (São Tomé and Principe): Nestled in the rainforest, Sundy Praia is an intimate eco-lodge experience. Each villa has indoor and outdoor lounging areas, grand four-poster beds and stone-carved baths.
