Part of an A$1.5 billion development, the hotel is IHG’s first managed luxury hotel in the riverside city.
Opening in 2028, there will be 155 rooms and suites, a signature restaurant, spa, fitness centre, and indoor and outdoor event space.
An infinity pool will overlook the Brisbane River and an open-air terrace bar, while every side of the hotel will have sweeping water views or vistas across the Brisbane city skyline.

The gem in the new lifestyle precinct crown
IHG Director of Development, Cameron Burke says the vibrant, cool neighbourhood of Teneriffe is “the perfect fit for the brand’s guest profile with trendy wine bars, restaurants, breakfast cafés, dog parks, artisan bakeries and locally loved microbreweries all within walking distance”.
Burke says Kimpton has “an ardent global following amongst the lifestyle-led and socially inclined, which will resonate strongly as part of the Skyring Terrace precinct and within Brisbane’s luxury hotel market”.

Kokoda Property Founder and Managing Director, Mark Stevens, says the hotel will be “the centrepiece of our striking Teneriffe development”.
“The brand’s lifestyle-centric positioning, design and playful guest experiences will fit perfectly into this exciting and unique pocket of Brisbane.
“We’re excited to play a part in the regeneration of historic Teneriffe – from its industrial origins into one of the trendiest neighbourhoods of Brisbane. It’s a popular year-round hub for fitness and is set to get even better with Skyring Terrace to connect Brisbane’s famed riverwalk between Teneriffe and New Farm and become the cultural heartbeat of the lively area.”
