1 Hotel & Homes has announced its senior leadership team for its first Australian property, opening in Melbourne next year.
Nestled along the banks of Yarra River, in Docklands, 1 Hotel Melbourne, will have 277 guest rooms, 114 hotel-branded residences, several dining options and a lobby bar with waterfront views.
The sustainable-focused brand will also have a state-of-the-art wellness centre, indoor pool, function centre and guests will have access to 3,500 square metres of public parklands.

Senior leadership team
The hotel’s senior leadership team will include Johannes Brosemann (centre of main image) who has been appointed Hotel Manager following five years as Executive Assistant Manager at Brisbane’s Calile Hotel.
Prior to this, Brosemann worked at Hilton, including two years as Director of Operations for Hilton Munich Airport and key managerial roles at Hilton Hotel Brisbane.
Libby Escolme (left, main image) will take on the role as Director of Marketing. Escolme has worked in five countries in hotels, prop-tech, real estate, retail, services and FMCG sectors.
She was the former Global Vice President of InterContinental Hotels Group, Upscale Portfolio in London and is a certified integrative nutritionist.
Elena Fragasso (right, main image), will take on the role as Director of Sales after 15 years with corporate and lifestyle brands. Her previous roles included Director of Sales for the Park Hyatt Sydney, Sales Director for W-Union Square NY, USA; Director of Sales & Marketing for Sheraton Mirage Port Douglas, and two stints with Starwood Hotels & Resorts both in Sydney and Los Angeles.
