Thank you very much. Winning the Outstanding Achievement Award at Luxperience is truly an honour. I am incredibly grateful to our talented team at Lux Voyages, whose passion and commitment to excellence drive everything we do. This award is a reflection of their hard work and dedication.

I believe the success of Lux Voyages can also be attributed to several key factors:

Tell us a bit more about the scope of your businesses

 At Lux Voyages, we operate three specialised brands (Tahiti Voyages, New Caledonia Voyages and Lux Voyages) that each has a distinct focus on promoting unique travel destinations to the Australian market.

Tahiti Voyages is a wholesale travel business that specialises in promoting Tahiti holiday packages and destinations to Australian travellers. Our goal is to offer unforgettable experiences in this beautiful South Pacific destination.

New Caledonia Voyages is another wholesale travel business that focuses on promoting New Caledonia holiday packages and destinations in Australia. We work closely with partners to highlight the charm and diversity of New Caledonia, offering Australians a unique Pacific escape.

Lux Voyages is our flagship wholesale brand that specialises in destinations such as the Maldives, Sri Lanka, and beyond. We curate bespoke travel experiences to these sought-after locations, ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and unforgettable holidays.

Across all of our brands, we collaborate closely with tourism boards, airlines, and local partners to develop targeted marketing strategies that bring exciting and high-quality holiday packages to the Australian market.

How did you start in the travel industry, and what do you love about it? 

My journey in the travel industry began with a deep passion for exploring new destinations and cultures. I was always fascinated by how travel has the power to connect people, broaden their perspectives, and create unforgettable memories.

What I love most about the travel industry is the opportunity to create unique and meaningful experiences for people. The joy of seeing someone’s dream holiday come to life, whether it’s a relaxing getaway in the Maldives or an adventurous escape to Tahiti, is incredibly rewarding.

The travel industry is also dynamic and constantly evolving, which keeps me motivated. It’s exciting to work with a diverse range of partners and destinations and to be part of an industry that brings so much joy and connection to people around the world.

Which regions do you specialise in and how do you stand out in terms of what you can offer to your clients?

We specialise in extraordinary destinations like Tahiti, New Caledonia, the Maldives, Sri Lanka, and other unique, off-the-beaten-path locations. Our focus on these regions allows us to create highly tailored and exclusive travel experiences that highlight the very best these destinations have to offer.

The appeal of these destinations lies in their distinct charm – whether it’s the pristine beaches and luxury resorts of the Maldives, or the rich culture and breathtaking landscapes of Tahiti.

These places provide travellers with the perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, and authentic cultural immersion.

How do you personally like to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and clients? 

Building and maintaining strong relationships with both our suppliers and clients is fundamental to the success of Lux Voyages.

With suppliers, I prioritise cultivating long-term relationships based on mutual respect and transparency. Regular communication and collaboration are crucial, whether it’s discussing new offerings or ensuring that every detail of our clients’ experiences is flawlessly executed.

Additionally, our team makes a point of visiting suppliers and partners in person whenever possible, as this helps solidify a deeper and more personal connection. Whether it’s working with our travel agents for their clients’ bookings or directly with our customers, we recognise that each client is different.

We also ensure that we stay in touch with them throughout the entire journey, not just during the planning stages, but also during and after their travels, to ensure their complete satisfaction. Building lasting relationships with clients is all about delivering personalised service and showing that we genuinely care about making their holidays unforgettable.

Ultimately, it’s about maintaining professionalism while adding a personal touch. These relationships are built on trust, reliability, and our shared goal of creating exceptional travel experiences.

How do you stay up to date about the market and trends in luxury travel and the regions you work with? 

Staying up to date with market trends and the latest developments in luxury travel is essential to providing the best experiences for our clients. I make it a priority to regularly attend industry events, such as luxury travel conferences and networking functions, where I can connect with other professionals and learn about new trends.

I also keep a close eye on travel reports, industry publications, and news from key tourism boards and suppliers. This helps me stay informed about emerging destinations, unique experiences, and new offerings in the regions we specialise in, like Tahiti, New Caledonia, the Maldives and Sri Lanka.

Additionally, our team participates in familiarisation trips to our destinations a few times a year. These trips give us the opportunity to visit resorts, meet with on-site partners, and inspect properties in person. By receiving direct updates about the resorts and destinations, we can ensure that we continue to deliver the highest level of luxury travel products and meet our clients’ expectations.

What are your business goals for 2025? 

 For 2025, our primary business goals are to continue expanding our presence in the luxury travel market. We aim to grow our portfolio of exclusive destinations and deepen our partnerships with key suppliers and tourism boards to provide even more unique, tailored experiences for our customers.

We plan to invest in technology to improve our service delivery and streamline the booking process for both our travel agents and direct clients. This will allow us to offer even more efficient, seamless experiences while maintaining the high level of personal service our clients expect.

Another key goal is to expand our team and further develop our expertise in the regions we specialise in, ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional, up-to-date knowledge and insights.

Ultimately, we want to continue being a trusted brand in the luxury travel industry, offering unforgettable journeys that exceed our clients’ expectations.
