Luxperience announces 2025 dates with registrations opening in mid February

Luxperience, part of Flight Centre Travel Group, has moved its event forward this year to 7-10 October at ICC Sydney, with registrations for 160 exhibitors opening on 14 February.

Luxperience, part of Flight Centre Travel Group, has moved its event forward this year to 7-10 October at ICC Sydney, with registrations for 160 exhibitors opening on 14 February.

Event Director Lynn Ormiston reports that Australia and New Zealand are replacing the US market as the primary source of engaged luxury travellers, revealing that her negotiations with international suppliers has been “incredibly successful” to-date with some of the largest tourism boards shifting focus to the AU and NZ market, as the US market shows signs of contraction.

“We have had incredibly strong interest in Luxperience this year, as luxury exhibitors target the growth opportunities that are coming from the Australian and New Zealand market. Our international partners are also flagging the changing patterns of Australian travellers who are increasingly more engaged in the countries they are visiting, spending longer and diving deeper into the cultural experiences on offer,”said Ormiston.

“While Europe remains highly attractive to the antipodean luxury traveller, there has been a clear shift in interest to new regions like Scandanavia and Switzerland to name just a few. What is also becoming clear is that we are focused on finding those intriguing new niche markets and inspired by new properties and unusual experiences that are being launched.”

Following last year’s event, Luxperience will again return to the ICC Sydney between 7 – 10 October 2025.

Buyer and Guest Manager, Lauren Dunemann, said that the feedback from the 2024 event was overwhelmingly positive with national and international buyers commenting on the ‘civilised’ appeal of Luxperience, as well as the curated appointment diary of targeted personal meetings.

“The quality of our personal meeting diaries achieved a consistently high score in feedback from buyers and exhibitors, delivering guests both valuable time and strong business opportunity,” Dunemann said.

“An extraordinary 99 per cent of buyers confirmed that Luxperience was a critically important business event for them to attend in the region. Our focus on what is new, inspiring and unique both in Australia and New Zealand, and for Australians and New Zealand travellers continues to set us apart as the most-appealing luxury event in the market, driving interest and intent from our audiences,” said Dunemann.

Registration for exhibitors and partners officially opens 14 February 2025. Spaces are limited with maximum capacity for 160 exhibitors.
