Minor Hotels will debut its new luxury brand, The Wolseley Hotels, with a property in a historic building in New York in early 2027.
The opening of The Wolseley Hotel New York will also mean the debut of The Wolseley restaurant and bar in the United States, “bringing one of London’s most celebrated dining institutions to an international stage”.
Minor Hotels’ Group Director of Public Relations and Communications Mark Thomson says The Wolseley Hotel New York will mark the brand’s first hotel worldwide and “establish New York as the flagship destination for The Wolseley Hotels, whilst bringing one of London’s most celebrated dining institutions to an international stage”.

The hotel sits in a building originally constructed in 1905 as the clubhouse for The Lambs Club, “long associated with Broadway’s creative community and New York’s cultural elite, the address remains an enduring symbol of the city’s theatrical and artistic heritage”.
It will have 76 rooms and suites with the restaurant, “serving as the social centre of the hotel, carrying forward the grand café tradition and polished European sensibility established by The Wolseley Piccadilly, offering all-day dining, signature cocktails, and a vibrant yet refined atmosphere”.
There will also be an intimate cellar-level speakeasy bar and a wellness centre reflecting the brand’s commitment to holistic luxury.

The Wolseley Hotel New York will be followed by a global rollout of The Wolseley Hotels planned for cities across Europe, North America, Asia, and the Middle East.
