Mondrian Gold Coast has partnered with Platinum Business Aviation Centre to launch its first luxury-branded aviation lounge.
The Mondrian Lounge at Platinum is set within Platinum Business Aviation Centre’s private aviation terminal at Gold Coast Airport.
A ‘hotel-inspired’ space, its design was a collaboration between the aviation centre and luxury hotel to provide a “private, calm space for passengers and crew before departure or after arrival”.
Platinum Business Aviation Centre General Manager Joe Stenning says the collaboration is the first of its kind.
“The introduction of the lounge represents a new era for the private aviation experience in Australia.
“We are bringing together world‑class aviation services and world-renowned luxury hospitality to create something truly unique for our guests.”
“This is the first time in Australia or New Zealand that an FBO and a luxury lifestyle hotel brand have collaborated in this way, and we’re proud to lead that innovation from the Gold Coast.

Mondrian Gold Coast Co-owner Letitia Vitale says the collaboration aligns naturally with the hotel’s DNA and philosophy.
