She’s already worked on Club Med Kiroro Grand’s opening. And now Valerie Loy will be focusing on other new resorts such as Club Med Borneo and Kota Kinabalu. Keep an eye out; it’s set to open in 2024.
Club Med has its sights set on being renowned for offering exceptional upscale experiences. And it plans to leverage Loy’s experience as a “digital and social native”.
Rachael Harding, CEO of ESAP, says “innovative approaches” are required for the company to continue its growth within the region.
And this is where Loy comes in.
“Valerie’s experience in the hospitality industry coupled with experience leading regional teams and a creative passion for data-driven animations will only enhance the strength of Club Med,” Harding said.
Loy will also “help us identify new opportunities that drive value to our regional resorts”, she added.
Loy has more than 15 years of industry experience under her belt. And was most recently the Regional Director of Public Relations and Marketing Communications in the Asia Pacific region for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. Prior to this, she had been with notable hospitality brands such as Swissotel Hotels and Resorts, Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts, and Raffles Hotel Singapore.

Loy is often sought after for her insights and has been on the panel of conferences, addressing key thought-leadership topics of interest, such as the future of Influencer and Social Media Marketing.
She recently found a new love in the French Alps: skiing. So says she will likely enjoy trying out the Club Med experience.
Loy is based out of Club Med’s Singapore office.
