Moxy Hotels debuts its first Australian property, officially opening the doors to Moxy Sydney Airport on 22 August 2023. It joins 60-plus branded hotels globally and marks the first hotel opening in the domestic airport precinct since 2020.
Marriot International’s Moxy brand is for the “young at heart”, featuring compact guestrooms (some with quad bunks) and vibrant social spaces.
Dubbed “stylish, affordable and playful”, it prioritises in-hotel experiences and tech-smart stays over spacious suites.
What’s inside Moxy Sydney Airport
The 301-room Moxy Sydney Airport in Mascot features an onsite cafe (Little Baxter) and bar (Bar Moxy), fitness centre, the Living Room communal space and five meeting studios plus a laundry, gift shop and convenience store.
Aesthetically, the stylish interiors and converted warehouse feel pay homage to Mascot’s historic factory buildings.
Guests can take advantage of the pink Moxy Airport Shuttle for the 10-minute ride to Sydney International Airport.
