MSC Magnifica is set to get an overhaul, including the addition of MSC Yacht Club in what is the cruise line’s most extensive remodelling in a decade.
As well as the yacht club, the remodelled ship will have a new spa and gym.
The yacht club will span five decks with 63 suites, including the Royal Suite, a multi-gen space for up to six people with its own whirlpool, bathroom with marble finishes and spacious terrace.

There’s also a private sundeck with a pool, private bar and lounge and an exclusive yacht club restaurant.
The spa will include a sauna, two steam rooms and a salt room, while the gym has dedicated yoga and spin studios and “cutting-edge” training equipment.

MSC Cruises CEO Gianni Onorato says, “The yacht club is one of our most highly regarded products, loved by guests for its outstanding level of service, elegant spaces and exclusive facilities, so we are proud to be bringing this to MSC Magnifica“.
“The extensive remodelling is the largest we’ve undertaken in the last ten years and underlines our commitment to offer our guests the best possible guest experience across our entire fleet.”

The ship will go into the dry-dock refurbishment later this year.
Bookings are now open for sailings in the summer of 2026. This includes the first time the yacht club has been available on itineraries from Warnemunde to Baltic/Scandinavian destinations, plus the 2027 World Cruise.

Last month, the cruise line cut the ribbon on a new cruise terminal in Barcelona, marking the occasion with the first visit of luxury ship Explora II.
Inside, guests will find a spacious lounge, exclusive VIP area and retail spaces designed to kick off the cruise experience in style.
This summer, five of its ships will call Barcelona home, including MSC World Europa and MSC Seaside.
Explora II – the latest from MSC’s luxury brand Explora Journeys – will also sail the Mediterranean with Barcelona as a main homeport.
