New cultural and wellness resort Namia River Retreat will open its doors in Hoi An – one of the world’s trending honeymoon destinations – later this year, offering the only 5-star private pool villa resort within the ancient town on Vietnam’s central coast.
Namia River Retreat contains 60 well-appointed villas, including a honeymoon villa with a spa suite and six family villas as well as an all-day breakfast and complimentary minibar included in each stay.
Each villa features an open-plan living room, an outdoor terrace with river or rainforest views, an ensuite bathroom with shower and a sunken bathtub overlooking the pool.
Located on a river islet and close to the Hoi An city centre, the new retreat will also offer traditional wellbeing and cultural experiences inspired by its charming surrounds.
These include hyperlocal culinary options focusing on farm-to-table ingredients at the onsite Mia Dining restaurant and Vietnamese spa rituals, including a nightly 30-minute herbal hammam steam and hour-long spa therapy per guest.
The resort’s main saltwater pool and lounge area also has a host of wellness amenities, including a waterfall, jets, foot reflexology and a bio-pond with fish.
Guests can also take advantage of curated mini-tours that offer immersive and authentic cultural or active experiences from meeting local artisans to bamboo bicycle trails and sunset cruises on the Thu Bon River.
