Outrigger Resorts & Hotels will add a fourth Thai property to its portfolio with the acquisition of Zeavola Resort, a luxury beachfront escape on popular Phi Phi Island, which will reopen as Outrigger Phi Phi Island Resort on 1 October 2025.
Located on a secluded stretch of white sand and the Andaman Sea, the premier property will undergo a full transformation before reopening to offer what Outrigger terms “barefoot luxury and authentic island charm with meaningful cultural experiences and environmental stewardship”.
With Phi Phi Island in its shoulder season, the resort will temporarily close for the extensive renovation to reimagine both accommodations and shared spaces.

The refreshed resort will feature 63 suites and villas and reflect the brand’s approach for a refined yet relaxed retreat for global travellers seeking an immersive island experience.
The 5-star Phi Phi Island Resort joins other properties currently operating in Koh Samui, Khao Lak and Surin Beach, Phuket.
Group President & CEO Jeff Wagoner said the expansion highlights the company’s connection and commitment to curating beach escapes throughout Asia Pacific.

“The addition of a new resort on Phi Phi Island represents a landmark moment in our strategic growth across Asia Pacific,” he said.
“Thailand remains one of the world’s most beloved travel destinations and we are thrilled to bring our signature style of beachfront hospitality to this extraordinary location.
“With our established operational presence, we’re well-positioned to enhance the guest experience and further strengthen our roots in this vibrant, culturally rich market.”
