Hyatt Hotels Corporation has introduced Park Hyatt London River Thames, the first Park Hyatt in the UK. Nestled in Nine Elms, a fast-evolving area in South West London, this riverside hotel offers stunning views of the city’s skyline, blending elegance with a touch of local charm.
The hotel features 203 guestrooms and is located within walking distance of Battersea Power Station, a major attraction with over 11 million visitors last year. It’s also near landmarks like the Tate Britain, the Kia Oval and London’s iconic sights, including Big Ben and Buckingham Palace.
“Bringing the flagship Park Hyatt hotel to life has been a privilege,” Park Hyatt London River Thames GM Rike Erdbrink said.

“This hotel embodies understated luxury, where personalized service and a warm atmosphere create a true sense of home and belonging in London.
“With its central location and thoughtful design, the hotel positions London in a new light, primed to accommodate discerning travellers looking for elevated experiences.”
The design of Park Hyatt London River Thames offers a modern take on classic English style, featuring artisanal details and timeless furnishings.
Its neutral palette is accented by vibrant artwork, including a Charlie Whinney installation, “Ebb and Flow”, inspired by the river Thames.

The rooms boast William Morris designs, leather touches, and floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the river and city.
Dining options include The Nine Elms Kitchen & Terrace, with seasonal dishes inspired by London’s culture and The Nine Elms Bar & Lounge, offering classic cocktails. TAMISé Tea Lounge & Wine Library provides a serene riverside setting, while a Cantonese restaurant is also set to open soon.
For relaxation, guests can access a full-floor wellness centre, featuring a spa with river views, a spacious fitness centre, a 65×26-foot indoor pool and luxurious treatment rooms, creating a tranquil retreat in the heart of the city.

“The opening of Park Hyatt London River Thames is a testament to our continued commitment to expanding our luxury brand offering across Europe, Africa and the Middle East,” Hyatt Group President EAME Javier Águila said.
“Sustaining this momentum is key to our goal of hotels’ accommodating guests who are looking for the ultimate indulgence.
“With Park Hyatt London River Thames’ exceptional views, sophisticated design, memorable meeting spaces and second-to-none culinary experiences, we are confident that this hotel will exceed expectations.”
Closer to home, the Hyatt Corporation recently announced it would debut its Andaz brand in Australia, with the Andaz Gold Coast set to open in 2025.
