Travellers can now experience a new Paspaley Pearl Farm Tour as part of Journey Beyond’s Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures’ day trips in the Kimberley. To celebrate the launch, advisors can secure 25 per cent off Paspaley Pearl Farm Tour by Journey Beyond bookings until 31 July 2024.
Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures will operate the new four-hour Paspaley Pearl Farm Tour by Journey Beyond with two daily departures, including Broome hotel transfers, running until October 2024.
It offers a behind-the-scenes small-group ocean and land touring experience to an open-sea pearl farm to see the pearl creation journey from the seabed to shop.
Guests are transported from Broome to Gantheaume Point Beach and transferred by tender to a custom-designed ocean vessel that allows them to cruise into Roebuck Bay, a designated Ramsar Nature Reserve wetland site.
At the Paspaley Pearl Farm, they’ll learn about the region’s pearling history and cultivation before returning to Gantheaume Point to explore Paspaley Boutique and sample pearl meat canapés.
Journey Beyond Executive General Manager Sales & Partnerships Alicia Triggs said the intimate, immersive experience is designed to highlight Broome’s rich pearling history.
