Regent Seven Seas has floated out Seven Seas Prestige, the first of its new Prestige-class ships with the largest ultra-luxe cruise ship suite in history.
Seven Seas Prestige, which will debut in December 2026, is the first in the new ‘Prestige’ class, the luxury cruise lines first new ‘class’ of ship in 10 years.
The ships are 40 per cent larger than any other ship by the cruise line and will have the highest crew-to-guest ratio in the industry with 822 guests and 630 crew.
Following the milestone ‘float out’ event, which culminated in Regent’s biggest single booking day for a new ship in its history, the ship now goes into its final construction phase, where it will be outfitted by designers.
The ultra-luxury liner will have the largest cruise ship suite on the high seas.
The A$40,000 per night two-storey Skyview Regent Suite has two bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, a dining and living room, floating natural stone staircase, private in-suite elevator, personal gym and sauna.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises Chief Luxury Officer Jason Montague says the float out is an “extraordinary moment” for the cruise line.
“It represents the culmination of years of planning and collaboration with our long-standing partners at Fincantieri.
“The overwhelming response to this vessel affirms that discerning travellers recognise something truly exceptional is on the horizon; emphasized by the ship’s launch day which became our biggest single booking day for a new ship in our history.
“From the unprecedented Skyview Regent Suite to every thoughtfully designed detail, Seven Seas Prestige embodies our dedication to redefining ultra-luxury travel.”
Seven Seas Prestige will embark on 13 voyages across Europe and the Caribbean, including two transatlantic crossings. Ranging from 10 to 15 nights, the trips will include the cruise line’s private island Harvest Caye, Belize; two transits of the Panama Canal, and overnight stays in London, Lisbon and Bordeaux.
