First look at Seven Seas Prestige, Regent’s first new ship class in a decade

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has released the first interior renderings of its new ship, Seven Seas Prestige, along with a fly-through video of key public spaces ahead of its 2026 debut.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises has released the first interior renderings of its new ship, Seven Seas Prestige, along with a fly-through video of key public spaces ahead of its 2026 debut.

The luxury cruise line’s first new ship class in a decade, Seven Seas Prestige is being built by Fincantieri and will host just 822 guests on a 77,000-ton vessel—resulting in one of the highest passenger-to-space ratios in the industry, according to the cruise line.

“Hosting only 822 guests on a ship that could fit hundreds more means we will offer heartfelt hospitality in unrivalled space at sea like never before,” Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer for Regent Seven Seas Cruises said.

The new visuals show two key spaces (Starlight Atrium and Galileo’s Bar) designed by Miami-based Studio DADO, the same firm behind the interiors of Regent’s Explorer-class ships.

What’s inside Starlight Atrium?

Located across decks four and five and rising through to deck 11, the Starlight Atrium will be a focal point of the ship’s public areas. A glass-enclosed ceiling is designed to allow both sunlight and starlight into the two-storey space, which connects multiple amenities including:

  • Galileo’s Bar
  • Prestige Lounge
  • Casino
  • Meridian Lounge
  • Coffee Connection
  • Concierge desk
  • Guest reception

Yohandel Ruiz, Founding Partner of Studio DADO, described the design as “where the grandeur of Renaissance architecture meets modern luxury.”

Twin spiral staircases span from deck four to deck five, while additional sculptural alcoves provide ocean views and relaxation areas with upholstered furniture in neutral tones of dusty rose, taupe, and cream.

The reception area features pleated leather panels and a light fixture made from handblown glass and ceramic pearls. Throughout the space, framed wall art and panelling are used to balance classical influences with contemporary finishes.

Galileo’s Bar nods to Seven Seas Navigator

Strategically located to serve both the Prestige Lounge and the casino, Galileo’s Bar draws inspiration from the outgoing Seven Seas Navigator®, which will be leaving the Regent fleet.

The ceiling features a custom-designed, oil-painting-style canvas, bordered by metallic fretwork. The base of the bar includes fluted details, while a striped floor creates visual contrast and defines the space.

Limestone-textured walls are accented with sconce lighting designed to resemble jewellery, while the views from Galileo’s Bar look out over the spiral staircases and wider atrium space.

As with all Regent ships, premium beverages are included in the cruise fare and available throughout all bars and lounges.

A new legacy for Regent

Seven Seas Prestige marks the beginning of a new class of ships for Regent Seven Seas Cruises, following its Explorer-class series and a decade since its last ship class launch. According to the cruise line, it will also debut brand-new suite categories, a reimagined Regent Suite, and fresh dining venues—details for which are expected to be released in coming months.

The line positions Seven Seas Prestige as offering more Unrivalled Space at Sea™ than any previous Regent ship. Standard inclusions will align with the brand’s all-inclusive model, such as:

  • Unlimited shore excursions in every port
  • Gourmet cuisine across specialty and al-fresco restaurants
  • Premium wines and spirits
  • Starlink WiFi
  • Free valet laundry service
  • Gratuities
  • One-night pre-cruise hotel packages for Concierge-level guests and above

The ship will join what the brand refers to as The World’s Most Luxurious Fleet®, which currently includes Seven Seas Explorer®, Grandeur®, Mariner®, Navigator®, Splendor®, and Voyager®.
