Following its Australian debut in April, the ultra-luxe Scenic Eclipse II has completed its first Kimberley voyage.
The much-anticipated Scenic Eclipse II is on a two-year voyage in the Oceania region.
A six-star, ultra-luxury experience, there are just 114 suites, 10 all-inclusive dining experiences, and a one-to-one crew-to-guest ratio.
Scenic Director of Discovery Operations, Jason Flesher says, “What we have achieved and created on these inaugural Scenic Eclipse II voyages has never been done in the Kimberley before”.
“Guests have had the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the rich cultural heritage and natural wonders, guided by our expert Discovery Team led by wilderness expert Mike Cusack.
“From incredible helicopter experiences, fishing and swimming at locations inaccessible on the coastline, like the top of Mitchell Falls, to beach landings by Zodiac, viewing ancient Indigenous rock art, and scenic flightseeing throughout the day.
“A hidden tropical outback jewel, the Kimberley is a must-do experience for travellers, and we are incredibly proud to have set a new benchmark for ultra-luxury exploration in this region.”

Guests were able to experience Scenic Eclipse II‘s unique helicopter program. The ship has two helicopters and a fleet of Zodiacs with each Kimberley voyage offering up to 10 helicopter experiences.
Scenic Eclipse II also offers heli-fishing adventures and has permits for fishing off the ship’s marina. The freshly caught fish is then taken onboard and served in the restaurants.
Following its Kimberley voyages, Scenic Eclipse II will continue its inaugural season in Oceania, exploring the region until early 2026, from Queensland’s Cape York to the Great Barrier Reef, the Northern Territory’s Top End and Western Australia’s Abrolhos Islands.
There are another eight voyages in the Kimberley in 2024 and four departures in 2025.
