Seabourn unveils 120-day world cruise to commemorate 40th anniversary

The 2028 Cape to Cape World Cruise on Seabourn Quest will cover five continents and more than 50 destinations, with the first complimentary expedition-style experiences on a world cruise with the luxury liner.

The 2028 Cape to Cape World Cruise on Seabourn Quest will cover five continents and more than 50 destinations, with the first complimentary expedition-style experiences on a world cruise with the luxury liner.

Departing from Miami in January 2028, the 120-day voyage marks the beginning of Seabourn’s 40th anniversary year and will “retrace the spirit of its first sailing” with a transit through the Panama Canal.

Complimentary expedition-style experiences will be available for the first time on a world cruise with the liner, with excursions in Antarctica and the Chilean Fjords.

The ship will also visit 38 destinations listed as UNESCO sites and rarely visited destinations such as Robinson Crusoe Island, Santa Clara Island in the South Pacific, Nightingale Island in the South Atlantic, and Garibaldi Glacier in Chile.

The 120-day journey will cost A$262,349 in the Owner’s Suite (pictured here)

Starting at A$105,299 in an Ocean View suite, the journey will also take in Cape Horn in South America, Cape of Good Hope in South Africa, Antarctica, Easter Island and the Falkland Islands.

President Mark Tamis says the journey is a showcase of how luxury meets exploration.

“This voyage pairs rare expedition-style experiences with the thoughtful hospitality that defines sailing with Seabourn.”

Guests can choose from two itinerary lengths, a 120-day voyage from Miami to Dover (London) or a 112-day voyage with early disembarkation in Lisbon.

Later this year, the ship is part of an industry-first collaboration between Seabourn and Uniworld, which are joining forces to offer their first joint luxury river and ocean cruise.

Combining two of their most popular small-ship itineraries, there will be just two sailings in 2026 of Venice and the Mediterranean Sea – a combination of Uniworld’s seven-night ‘Venice and the Jewels of the Veneto’ itinerary onboard S.S. La Venezia and seven nights on Seabourn Quest, sailing the Adriatic and Grecian Gems between Venice and Athens.

The cruises set sail on 5 July and 30 August 2026.
