Signature Travel Network has dropped anchor on a new luxury cruise program for Australian and New Zealand travel advisors.

The new initiative offers exclusive perks and competitive prices on river and ocean cruises. Think free amenities like shipboard cash, private tours and hotel stays.

The network also recently brought on board Lisa Harrison as Managing Director, Australia and New Zealand, who aims to increase member engagement and grow the network in the region.

Guests on select cruises will receive benefits like shipboard credits, private car and guide tours, pre/post night stays, prepaid gratuities, experienced hosts and special events.

Meanwhile, members will enjoy enhanced commissions and access to Signature’s booking tool, Sig Cruise Pro.

Since launching its Australian International Affiliates program in 2015, the luxury travel advisor network has continued to grow Down Under.

“We’re thrilled about our growth in the Australia and New Zealand markets and expanding our benefits with a luxury cruise program is an excellent next step,” Signature Travel Network CEO and President Alex Sharpe said.

“Building strong preferred partnerships that deliver a differentiated travel experience is a core component of Signature’s mission and I am excited that our new luxury cruise program for agencies in this region provides the benefits that advisors and affluent travellers want and need.”

The program’s current cruise partners include AmaWaterways, Avalon Waterways, Azamara, Crystal Cruises, Explora Journeys, Oceania Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Seabourn, Silversea, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises and Windstar Cruises, with more to come.

Signature Travel Network says its new program adds to existing member benefits, including access to nearly 1,300 exclusive hotels and resorts, over 90 destination specialists offering customised holidays and invitations to Signature’s annual conference with over 900 preferred partners and 2,000 advisors for networking and training.

TravelManagers Operations Manager and Corporate Business Partnership Executive Troy Coelho said, “Our network of personal travel managers is thrilled with our decision to join the Signature Travel Network in early 2022”.

“They receive exceptional feedback from their clients and appreciate that each hotel within the program has a dedicated Signature contact,” he added.

“This ensures that our personal travel managers can directly connect with the right person at each hotel, guaranteeing that their clients are treated like the VIPs they truly are.”

Platinum Travel Group CEO Andy Buerckner was equally buoyant, saying Signature’s “people make the product”.

“The client experience and benefits are second to none, but it’s the cross-border relationships and family culture that underpins the success of our longstanding partnership.”
