Silversea cruisers can now enjoy more seamless connections to the Galápagos with new charter flights between Quito, Ecuador and San Cristóbal Island in the Galápagos exclusively for guests sailing on board the ultra-luxury Silver Origin.
Launched on 5 July 2025, the new Silversea Galápagos charter flights service eliminates a layover in Guayaquil, reducing travel time to the archipelago to two hours.
Silversea’s Galápagos charter flights feature private check-in services and onboard amenities include upgraded in-flight meals with alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, blocked middle seats and increased passenger space for a more comfortable flight.

Purpose-built for the Galápagos and Silversea’s first destination-specific vessel, the 50-suite, all balcony Silver Origin offers year-round seven- to 14-night expeditions designed to immerse guests in the archipelago’s unique ecosystem in luxurious comfort.
Itineraries include onboard Silversea expedition teams with leaders and Galápagos National Park-certified naturalist guides, high crew-to-guest ratios and personalised butler service.
With pre- and post-cruise hotel stays and tour options available in Quito, Silversea guests also have more time to explore before starting their immersive Galápagos expedition.

Reflecting on the new Galápagos charter flights, Silversea President Bert Hernandez said: “At the core of everything we do is a commitment to continual evolution, shaping the most enriching experiences for our guests.”
“This enhanced guest journey to the Galápagos reflects this dedication, streamlining every touchpoint to make visiting this bucket-list destination more accessible and seamless than ever.”
