The 5-star Sydney Marriott Hotel Parramatta will open in mid-2027, further cementing Western Sydney as a second CBD destination ahead of the opening of Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) in 2026.
The new hotel marks the second Marriott Hotels & Resorts property in NSW after the Sydney Harbour Marriott Hotel at Circular Quay and the group’s fifth in Australia.
Realised in partnership with property developers JQZ, the Sydney Marriott Hotel Parramatta will reside on Church Street, Parramatta in Sydney’s west and provide a premium offering in the CBD area.
The new-build 279-room hotel is expected to feature an M Club Lounge, a restaurant, a café, a lobby lounge, a rooftop swimming pool complete with a pool bar and a fitness centre.
In addition, it will offer extensive function and meeting facilities, offering world-class facilities for both business and leisure stays.
Sydney Marriott Hotel Parramatta will be the centrepiece of a large-scale, mixed-use project, which will include residential apartments and retail and commercial tenants.
Marriott International ANZP Vice President – Developments Richard Crawford said Parramatta is a strategic location for the global hospitality brand’s expansion.

Major infrastructure projects, including WSI, are expected to substantially increase demand for hotel room nights in Parramatta.
