Trafalgar is deepening its presence in European river cruising with the addition of a third ship, Trafalgar Harmonie, and a brand-new Seine itinerary launching in April 2027, designed to meet strong Australian demand for France.

The move follows the debut of Reverie and Verity on the Danube and Rhine in April 2026, marking the tour brand’s entry into the premium river cruise market.

The 126-passenger Harmonie is the first in France and will offer seven cabin categories with river views from every stateroom, plus a French culinary restaurant and lounges, sundeck, spa and fitness area, offering a 3:1 staff-to-guest ratio.

The new Best of the Seine with Paris & Normandy itinerary brings Trafalgar’s guided tour expertise to France and meets the rising demand for river cruising.

The new itinerary is designed to integrate with land tours departing from Paris, connecting rail and river options. Optional pre- and post-extensions with included transfers in London and Paris are also available.

For travel advisors, it combines immersive cultural experiences with seamless land, rail and river combinations that support longer, higher-value bookings.

Trafalgar Vice President, River Cruise Damien O’Connor said: “As Trafalgar expands its river cruise fleet, debuting on one of Europe’s most iconic waterways is a natural next step.”
