Ahoy, travel agents… Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) is rolling out the red carpet for its brand-new River Cruise Showcase on 29 August, with tickets for the event available now.
The event, the first-of-its-kind Down Under, promises an action-packed afternoon of river cruise training for travel agents gearing up for Cruise360 Australasia in Sydney.
Scheduled as a half-day seminar just before Cruise360, the River Cruise Showcase aims to give both river cruise rookies and seasoned sellers a crash course on the ins and outs of the river cruise segment.
The event will comprise snappy presentations from nine leading river cruise lines, with each giving insights into the secrets of their success, what makes their brand stand out, the rivers and destinations they sail through, and the key types of travellers they cater to.
The event will also feature two lively panel discussions, with one zooming in on river destinations and the unique experiences they offer, and the other diving into the art of identifying and effectively targeting river cruise enthusiasts.
Cruise lines setting sail for this showcase include Avalon Waterways, Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Emerald Cruises, Tauck, AmaWaterways, APT, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises, A-ROSA River Cruises and Riviera Travel River Cruises.
CLIA’s River Cruise Showcase is set to take place at the ICC Sydney from 12-4pm on Thursday, 29 August, just before the Cruise360 Australasia conference kicks off on Friday, 30 August.
Tickets are exclusively for CLIA member travel agents attending Cruise360 Australasia.
