Four Seasons' first superyacht has made her maiden voyage

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has launched its first superyacht, the ultra-luxury 95-suite Four Seasons I.

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has launched its first superyacht, the ultra-luxury 95-suite Four Seasons I.

The first voyage from Spain coincides with the 65th anniversary of the luxury hotel brand and the opening of the company’s first hotel in 1961.

The superyacht’s first year will include 32 voyages, exploring 130 destinations in more than 30 countries and territories throughout the Mediterranean in summer, and the Caribbean and Bahamas in winter.

Designed as a “residential-inspired vessel to elevate the yachting experience,” the 95 suites include the ‘Funnel Suite’, a three bedroom ‘apartment-style suite’ with floor-to-ceiling windows, a dining table for six, splash pool, outdoor gym, and sprawling private terrace.

Dining options include 11 restaurants and lounges with a rotating roster of chefs on board from Four Seasons’ Michelin-starred restaurants.

While for those focused on wellbeing, there’s the L’Oceana Spa, which has a hammam and ‘thermal circuit’ with sauna, aromatic steam and cold therapies.

There’s also sunrise yoga and meditation, private breathwork sessions, personalised fitness training, and guided mindfulness practices.

The transverse marina opens across both sides of the vessel, transforming into a private retreat with direct sea access and water sports.

Four Seasons President and CEO Alejandro Reynal says the launch comes at a milestone time for the luxury hotel brand.

“We debut on the same day that the first hotel opened 65 years ago, making this milestone even more meaningful as we celebrate the history of our company, while looking forward to the bright future ahead.

“It is a continuation of the pioneering ambition on which the brand was built, and will reflect the same genuine care, service excellence, and exceptional moments we create for guests on land. We are proud to introduce a new expression of our brand at sea, opening an entirely new horizon for our guests.”

Joint owners, Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings Ltd CEO Ben Trodd says, “with the confidence our guests place in Four Seasons comes an equally high expectation for excellence”.

“At Four Seasons Yachts we answer that call by combining our global standard for luxury hospitality with renowned maritime leadership, inviting our guests to explore the world from an entirely new vantage point.”
