Karryon got its hands on the newly released concept art of Pixar Place Hotel at Disneyland Resort! And yes, we’re on the case of finding Nemo.
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel is being reimagined into the first fully Pixar hotel in the United States. And when complete, the 15-story high-rise hotel will overlook Disney California Adventure park.
The first step in the hotel’s transformation is projected to be completed by our Aussie summer.
But what if you’ve got guests booked at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel? Despite refurbishments, they can still enjoy the benefits of staying on property at the Disneyland Resort. With valid park tickets and reservations, they’ll get early park entry and a special entrance to Disney California Adventure park. Plus, they’ll be close to Disneyland park and the Downtown Disney District.
What will Pixar Place Hotel look like?
The architecture will be a tribute to Pixar’s creativity, with whimsical shapes and colourful accents reminiscent of the studio’s iconic animation.
Upon entering the hotel, guests will of course be greeted by the Pixar Lamp balancing atop its ball! A new, reimagined lobby atrium will feature a colourful character-inspired mobile and images from Pixar films will be at the front desk.
The hotel will also boast a host of Pixar-inspired amenities and activities to keep guests entertained throughout their stay.
In time for the American summer, overnight guests can refresh themselves in an all-new water play area inspired by ‘Finding Nemo’. Crush the sea turtle will greet guests at the top of a 186-foot-long waterslide, while Hank hangs out at the pop-jet splash pad. This will also be a great place to take in the fireworks at night.
