Journey Beyond and Opera Australia will create beautiful music together, transporting fans across the country on the Indian Pacific rail journey to experience Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour’s reimagined West Side Story musical.
Journey Beyond’s 2024 Stagelights and Sydney Sights holiday package pairs an Indian Pacific journey from Perth to Sydney with a night at the opera on Sydney Harbour with fares from $4,325 per person.
The pop-up outdoor theatre on the water will have two of Australia’s most recognised landmarks, Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House, plus fireworks as the backdrop.
With Perth and Sydney departures in March and April 2024, the package includes three nights aboard Indian Pacific with Off-Train Experiences and three nights’ stay at InterContinental Sydney, including daily breakfast and transfers.
Guests will also enjoy a Gourmet Sydney Harbour lunch cruise on Journey Beyond Cruise Sydney, a Premium Reserve seat at Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour and Sydney Opera House Guided Tour.
