Virtuoso has promoted Lori Sheller to Vice President, Global Cruise to lead the cruise division.
In her new role, Sheller will oversee partnerships with the world’s top cruise lines and develop new initiatives to strengthen the global network of agencies’ position in the global cruise market.
She will also be responsible for “developing new initiatives and delivering greater value to the network of travel agency members and preferred partners”.
Sheller has held leadership roles at EBG, Swan Hellenic, MSC Cruises USA, Tourico Holidays/Hotelbeds Group and Online Vacation Centre.
Senior Vice President, Global Partnerships Cory Hagopian says her appointment, “reflects its continued investment in the global cruise sector and the organisation’s focus on continued global growth”.

Hagopian adds, “We are thrilled to welcome Lori to Virtuoso at such an important time in our growth. Her strategic vision, leadership and deep industry relationships will be instrumental as we continue to expand our cruise business globally and deliver even greater opportunities for our network”.
Sheller will report to recently named Vice President, Global Partnerships Úna O’Leary.
In her previous position as Virtuoso’s first General Manager in Canada, O’Leary played a pivotal role in establishing the regional market within the global network.
Based in Toronto, she will oversee the network’s preferred partner portfolio expansion worldwide, bringing her proven leadership and deep understanding of the luxury travel landscape to support long-term strategic growth.

Her appointment follows Cory Hagopian’s recent promotion to Senior Vice President, Global Partnerships to focus on driving the partner sales strategy and developing relationships across all product categories, including the new Ultra-High-Net-Worth vertical.
