Another year, another round of US-focused events hosted by dozens of US-based suppliers came to an as the Visit USA Expos wrapped up in Sydney this week.

Another year, another round of US-focused events hosted by dozens of US-based suppliers came to an as the Visit USA Expos wrapped up in Sydney this week.

The annual expo travelled from Melbourne to Brisbane and finally ended in Sydney on Wednesday where consultants said they had a great night mixing with the winner of ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ aka the Visit USA Expo host aka Richard Reid.

No seriously, they LOVED him. One look at Instagram and it’s all selfies with the TV personality.

Describing it as one of their “favourite” functions of the year, consultants said they were buzzed over the opportunity to chat face-to-face with suppliers who travelled to Australia from all around the US, including Portland…

Visit USA’s President, Lucy Rowe, said she was “thrilled” by the support received from Travel Advisors who helped turn this year’s expos into the biggest event in Australia.

“We’re thrilled with the support and interest provided by Travel Agents to come and meet our international guests.”

“Each year our Travel Agent numbers increase for show attendance and this year our Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne shows sold out,” she said.

“There is still an opportunity to mingle with our USA members though, as the shows now move into regional and west coast Australia visiting Perth, Adelaide, Townsville, Cairns, Hobart and Newcastle throughout March, April and May.”
