Aussies can now plug in and go anywhere with an electrifying ride powered by ultra-fast free charging on the Evie public network with any Polestar 2 electric vehicle hired through Hertz Australia until 27 October 2022.
The new partnership plugs into Evie Networks’ fast and ultra-fast locally designed and manufactured EV charging stations across Australia with 24/7 service.
Travellers can book a Polestar 2 from various Hertz locations, including Adelaide, Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Hobart and Launceston.
Evie charging stations are currently available in Adelaide and up the eastern seaboard from Tassie to Noosa as well as Cairns.
The promotion highlights the addition of Polestar 2 electric vehicles to Hertz’s Australian rental fleet as part of the company’s commitment to driving EV adoption in Australia.

The move follows California’s recent sales ban on new petrol-fuelled cars by 2035 to speed up the transition to electric vehicles.
