CANADA, YOU BEAUTY! That’s the tagline of a new campaign by Destination Canada and Air Canada encouraging Aussie travellers to plan their next holiday there.
The out-of-home campaign in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland has seen buses, trams and bus shelters wrapped in breathtaking imagery of Canada’s one-of-a-kind outdoor adventures.
This is paired with a call to action to take advantage of Air Canada’s best fares to Canada.
Managing Director of Destination Canada Donna Campbell said she was excited for Australians to learn more about Canada’s “enthralling offerings” for all interests and ages, from gigantic icebergs in Newfoundland and Labrador, to encountering polar bears in Manitoba.
“Australians are discovering that Canada’s diversity makes it the ideal holiday destination – whether you want to take a road trip through blazing autumn foliage, have front row seats to the northern lights, or hike the hundreds of parks that make up this naturally beautiful country.”

Air Canada’s General Manager Australia and New Zealand Vic Naughton agrees that the six-week campaign will raise awareness of Canada’s surprising experiences and exciting seasonal adventures.
“The irresistible images will capture the imagination of Australians who have been considering Canada for their next holiday, as well as those who perhaps didn’t realise all that this vast country has to offer,” he said.
He explained that to action takes Australian travellers straight to a special website providing great ideas and information for planning a trip to Canada, along with the best possible fares.
