The Travel Corporation has made two highly significant changes within its Australian business.

Following his 16 year tenure as CEO TTC Australia, John Weeks will move to become non-executive Chairman of The Travel Corporation Pty Ltd.

Weeks will be succeeded by John Veitch, who joins the leading independent travel group after more than a decade with Flight Centre.

As the new CEO of TTC Australia, Mr Veitch will be based in the Sydney office, reporting directly to Brett Tollman, CEO of parent company The Travel Corporation.

Veitch also has extensive expertise in finance, telecoms and media, having worked across a number of industries prior to joining Flight Centre in 2004.
