Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa, Australia’s ultra-luxury conservation-based resort, received three awards at the annual 2014 HM Awards, including Best Regional Property and Best Australian Lodge. The resort’s General Manager, Joost Heymeijer, was named General Manager of the Year.
Held on Friday 5 September 2014 in Sydney’s Town Hall and hosted by Hotel Management magazine, the highly competitive 13th annual awards received a record number of entries this year, with over 3,000 entries spanning across Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
Emirates Wolgan Valley Resort & Spa was named Highly Commended in four categories including Best Day Spa and Best Resort. The resort’s David Hannan and Scott McLeod were recipients of the Highly Commended accolades for Human Resources Associate and Finance Associate respectively.
