What and when was your first role in tourism
In 1998 I left the navy, and I started in reservations at Travel Indochina.
If you weren’t in tourism, what would you be doing?
I’d probably be back in the navy.
How has the industry changed you?
It hasn’t changed me that much, but travelling opens your eyes to the world, it broadens your experiences, it opens it up to different cultures, which makes you a better person.
What’s the #1 country on your bucket list?
Egypt… or Italy and Germany because I haven’t done much of Europe.
What’s the best place that you’ve travelled?
Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Bhutan.
Name one person you would like to travel with and why…
Harrison Ford. I like a lot of his movies so maybe a few conversations there.
