Indeed, the Bottle Shop, aka The Chemist in Travel Agent-speak, is a firm fixture in the agent’s life, and it took this agent to remind us of that – thanks Cindy!
Singing lessons
What???!!!
Yep, one agent piped up and told us her fave after work activity on a Monday:
As Gemma clearly explains, singing hard rock songs helps to relieve the built up stresses of negs, annoying customers and mountains of work.
It makes total sense, and it’s also great training for drunken karaoke missions post buzz nights.
KFC
Mmm, Kentucky… a hot bucket of delicious relief…
Agents lucky enough to work next to a KFC know exactly where to go after work…
Note: If you ever hear one of your workmates talking about a consultant with Mr. Sanders after work, you know where they’re actually going…
Salsa classes
Burning off some of the day’s stresses away with sultry/sexy moves on the d-floor with a hot-blooded latino/a may just be the perfect way to de-stress and prepare for your next big night out – or next industry function or Global Gathering (by the way, guess who’ll be performing this year…)

Nowhere (stuck in the office)
Sadly, many agents have to stay back in the office, making sure Mrs Dandlegoof gets her quote and that Mr Snazzlepants gets a reply to his “urgent” email about how he’s currently in Bali and wants to change rooms because the people next door don’t go to sleep at 11pm as he does…
