Forty-seven Australian and New Zealand travel agents are exploring the US as part of Brand USA and Qantas’ mega famil called, MegaFam.
The group flew to Dallas on 10 November and split up to visit five different destinations – Tennessee, New York, Utah, Denver and Washington.
The group that made their way to Tennessee said they are having an amazing time, particularly in Memphis where they had the opportunity to explore the birth town of ‘The King’, Elvis Presley.

In the southern region, the Australian agents also learned how music played a role in overcoming segregation and racism in the US.
“I knew that a lot of that music was from this area, but I had no idea how instrumental it was in the civil rights movement and overcoming racism.”

Meanwhile, the team in Utah enjoyed dinner and drinks at the recently opened ‘Rye Diner & Drinks’ in Salt Lake City. They also joined art classes, learned wine blending and watched live entertainment at the Urban Lounge before seeing SOHN, who performed music music from his debut album ‘Tremors’.
