Jetstar may have found the cure to those post-holiday blues – a massive international airfare sale with flights going from as little as $99 (one-way).

The back to work promos keep coming in and the latest from Jetstar has sparked a booking frenzy among Aussies keen to secure their next getaway at a discounted price.

Holidaymakers from Darwin have managed to pick up those dirt cheap $99 fares to Bali, while Sydneysiders are scoring $199 tickets to the popular island.

Bali feature

According to Indonesia’s latest tourism figures, Aussies continue to fly into the Southeast Asian destination in large numbers with a 400,000 spike in arrivals during the month of October last year compared to the corresponding period in 2015.

Bali remains the most visited spot in the country for Australians despite attempts from Indonesia’s tourism leaders to open new islands and ports to the market.

Hawaii

Outside of Bali, Jetstar is also offering cheap fares from Melbourne to Bangkok from $189, Sydney to Phuket from $209 and Perth to Phuket from $146.

Those looking for a break to the US can pick up tickets to Hawaii’s Honolulu for $269 from Melbourne and $259 from Sydney.

Fares are one-way and are only available on select departure dates. The sale ends on 18 January.
