Holidaymakers had to get in real quick to secure cheap-as flights from Australia to Athens during Scoot’s eight-hour ‘Escape the Ordinary’ sale.
The budget airline gave the world a reason to smile in the midst of this Trump drama with the massive sale on its Asia and Europe flights that saw Aussies secure flights from Perth to Athens from just $349!

The sale only ran on Tuesday 31 January between 6.00am to 3.00pm (AEST).
However, while the massively discounted fares may have disappeared, Athens is still selling for dirt cheap on the Scoot website with fares starting from $369 on new bookings for travel from 20 June 2017 to 25 March 2018 – that’s a fair bit of time!
For those looking for a closer escape, Scoot has Singapore selling from $139 (for travel from now until 25 March 2017) and Phuket fares are available from $210 (also for travel from now until 25 March 2017).
