The Middle Eastern leader is making headlines this week for his lavish, excessive, extravagant and completely over-the-top travel luggage which allegedly weighed in at 460 metric tonnes, or according to Google conversion – over 4oo,000 kilograms (I triple checked that and apparently it’s right).

Can you imagine the excess baggage fee on that? And all for just a nine-day trip to Indonesia.
If you’re thinking, ‘what the hell did he pack? The entire contents of his castle?’, well, you’d almost be right.
According to the Jakarta Post, the Saudi king packed clothes and shoes as well as two Mercedes Benz limousines AND two electric lifts.
Just in case you’re wondering, it took around 572 people to deal with all the collateral.
Meanwhile, in land very close by, Syrian and Iraqi families are forcibly leaving behind their entire lives and everything they’ve ever known with just the clothes on their back.
