A YOUNG BOY BRIGHTENS UP A PLANE CABIN WITH ONE SIMPLE GESTURE

Boarding a flight is for the most part a quiet process whereby people internalise their travel excitement, wait in line and scan their boarding pass before locating and taking their seats.

There’s rarely ever any communication between flyers beyond “excuse me, I’m by the window”.

However, recently a young boy seems to have led a mini-revolution to this strict, isolated process, when he surprised everyone on board his Southwest Airlines flight with a fist-bump welcoming.

In a video filmed by his mother and posted to Southwest Airlines’ Facebook page, the little man (seems to be around three years old) is seen greeting and offering fist bumps to people as he walks down the aisle towards his seat.

Although initially fellow guests are confused by the simple and absolutely gorgeous gesture, they eventually warm up and he completely transforms the cabin’s atmosphere from one of silence to laughter and delight.
