Virgin Australia continues to pursue those premium flyers, by bringing its Business Class suites aboard its entire A330 fleet.

The new wide-body class dubbed ‘The Business’ was unveiled this week on the line’s newest Airbus aircraft.

As well as offering more space than Economy, Virgin’s ‘Business’ has the world’s longest and widest fully lie-flat bed in domestic business class; each seat has direct aisle access and they’ve been fitted with a triple-layer seat cushion to offer maximum comfort and support.

A turn-down service sees ‘The Business’ guests treated to high-grade cotton pillows and doonas, while entertainment is delivered through high definition 16-inch touch screens.

Virgin offers a ‘restaurant-style’ of dining in ‘The Business’, which enables guests to dine when they want, with new Luke Mangan-designed menus and premium Australian wines.

But of course, it’s all for naught if flyers don’t have access to the finest coffee in the sky, which Virgin is ensuring by introducing a purpose-built Nespresso machine, which achieves Nespresso-standards of coffee flow time; coffee yield; plus cream and milk foam quality.

Virgin Australia’s Chief Executive, John Borghetti, described ‘The Business’ aboard all A330s as a game changer in domestic business class travel.
