Meet your Norwegian Cruise Line Australian office – they’re here to help you get to know the company’s brands, various cruise offerings and drive more sales in the local market.

The office, currently made up of six members, officially opened this week, just as the wave season kicked off.

Headed by industry veteran and former Silversea Cruises Asia Pacific President, Steve Odell, the office has been tasked with promoting Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings’ three brands – Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises – to the Pacific region, including Australian and New Zealand travellers.

They will also be responsible for hyping up the arrival of Norwegian Star in 2016/17 – the first Norwegian Cruise Line ship to sail in local waters.

They’ll be responsible for promoting Norwegian in Aus, including the arrival of Norwegian Star.

Odell said the opening of the office marked an ‘exciting day’ in the company’s history and its global expansion.

“With this new office, we can now better support our travel partners as they serve their guests across the spectrum from contemporary to luxury cruising, offering sales and marketing support and a dedicated Sydney based call centre for our three brands.”

The team will also look at Norwegian’s luxury brands, Regent Seven Seas and Oceania Cruises.

While Odell will be responsible for growing the company’s presence in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, Constantin will use her skills obtained from working with Star Cruises to focus on providing travel partners with the tools and education to sell Norwegian Cruise Line.

Angell joins Norwegian from Virgin Australia and will support the three brands in strategic planning, marketing and engagement campaigns for both trade and consumers.

And then there’s Krstevski, who joins from The Cruise Team and will be responsible for managing the call center for the three brands and ensuring the highest levels of customer service.
