“Spicy, fragrant and colourful, an Indonesian meal, is a perfect way to create pre-holiday anticipation and excitement.

“Customers who have already travelled to Indonesia can share memories and holidays food experiences with family and friends.”

Dishes from across the archipelago will be included such as Beef Rendang, Udang Bumbu Bali (Spicy Balinese Prawns), Soto Ayam (chicken soup) and Gado-Gado.

“This flavour diversity could even tempt customers to explore undiscovered parts of Indonesia – like Lombok Island, Flores Island or Yogyakarta in Central Java,” Ms. Tulevksi adds.

“Sydney-siders are sophisticated diners and already familiar with ‘Asian’ food.

“However, with so few Indonesian restaurants in Sydney and most Australians only visiting Bali there are thousands of flavours and dishes that foodies won’t have experienced and won’t want to miss!

“Almost 20 dishes from across the archipelago will be available at Taste of Indonesia” Food Festival. Come along and discover something new.”
