Donald Trump has just received the green light on parts of his controversial travel ban, which will prevent people from select Middle Eastern and African countries from travelling to the US.
The US Supreme Court revealed this morning that it had decided to reinstate parts of the ban, which will take into effect later this week, ABC News reported.
President Donald Trump was ecstatic over the decision, saying on Twitter that he’s “very grateful” and believes it’s a step towards keeping “America SAFE”.

So now that it appears as though this travel ban is actually going to become a reality, here’s what travellers can expect:
While the ban is in place, travellers from Libya, Iran, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen will be barred from entering the United States.
Exceptions will be made to those with connections in the US such as family, school or work relations.

“With respect to foreign nationals who lack any bona fide relationship with a person or entity in the United States,” the justice of the court said.
“All other foreign nationals are subject to the provisions of [the executive order].”
Meanwhile, the same ruling will apply for 120 days on new refugees scheduled to arrive in the States. They’ll be banned from entering the country, unless they have family or work ties.
