Escapade Island Resort on Port Moselle, situated just off Noumea in New Caledonia, hosted a welcome dinner for Rendez-Vous participants earlier last month.
Last month the Rendez-Vous participants were transferred to Escapade Island Resort on Port Moselle, a small private island, just a 30 minutes ferry ride southwest of New Caledonia’s capital city, Noumea, for a welcome dinner hosted by Tourism New Caledonia.
The island resort features the only overwater bungalows in New Caledonia making it a popular resort with Australian and New Zealand travellers. The resort also features a large beautiful dining area where the welcome dinner was hosted.
Prior to the welcome dinner, participants were given a product update on New Caledonia as a destination presented by Caroline Brunel, Director of Sales and Marketing, GTI Tourism, which highlighted a strong growth for the island nation.
The welcome dinner gave the participants an opportunity to network and taste the local cuisine as well as practicing their French leading up to the workshop which took place the next day.
