1. Show your ‘Suiteheart’ you care with MSC

MSC Cruises is offering romantics everywhere the chance to declare whether they are Suiteheart’s or Sweetheart’s with their new Valentine’s Day offer.

As part of the ‘Suiteheart’ deal, MSC Cruises is offering a free upgrade from an Aurea Suite to an MSC Yacht Club (YC1) on MSC Divina departures cruising the Caribbean from November 2015 until April 2016.

For couples wishing to spend more time alone, MSC Cruises is offering the ‘Sweetheart’ deal; a selection of complimentary romantic packages: Romantic Sunset, Deluxe Bon Voyage and Romantic Sunrise. The Sweetheart deal is valid across an array of selected departures.

The ‘Suiteheart’ or ‘Sweetheart’ Valentine’s Day offer is valid between 5 February and 28 February 2015.

 

2. Turn up the romance in Dubai

For those seeking a Valentine’s Day escape, Atlantis the Palm’s Luxury ShuiQi Spa Package for two Adults from $1,247, is the perfect choice.

Guests can enjoy a romantic stay at the glamorous resort and receive a one hour full body massage for two adults, with a choice of five treatments.

There are 23 bars and restaurants at the property as well as access to 1.4km of private beach.

For couples visiting for one day only, award-winning ShuiQi Spa, the ultimate in luxury, is offering guests a celebrity experience in the exclusive Royal Spa Suite.

Guests can enjoy a Couples Indulgence Signature Treatment, complete with complimentary lunch for two from the Royal Spa menu and all-day pool and beach access for $1,154.

Those looking for a mind and body experience, the Japanese Ritual day package at $1,533, allows couples to lose themselves in a Japanese inspired body bathing that will enrich the senses.

The ritual includes a full body Qi massage, facial and a sublime scalp massage for him and her. Included within this package is a taste from Japan, with an elegant Sushi selection and a delicate Japanese green tea.

Food, is of course, the recipe of love. A variety of award-winning restaurants at Atlantis will be offering sumptuous Valentine’s Day options for every palate, from superb Japanese at Nobu, which will be serving a special 5-course set menu for $1,89, to hearty Italian at Ronda Locatelli which will surprise couples with a set menu at $204 per person.

 

3. Last minute treats at the Quay

Accor Hotel’s upscale, inner-city retreat, the Quay West Suites Brisbane, has created two new offers for romantics looking for delectable wining, dining and accommodation experiences this Valentine’s Day.

Quay West Suites Brisbane has a Valentine’s Day dinner package available at the hotel’s McMahons Restaurant priced from $159 per couple. The dinner package includes a three-course menu, a bottle of sparkling wine and romantic rose on arrival, plus a two-hour beverage package (excluding spirits).

To really impress your Valentine make a night of it, the hotel has created a Quay to Clicquot dinner and accommodation package priced from $399 per couple per night which includes overnight accommodation in one-bedroom apartment for two people; a bottle of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin Rose champagne on arrival; a three-course dinner in the hotel’s restaurant, McMahons; Quay West Suites’ signature apothecary bath pack including luxurious treats; room service breakfast; and more.

Bookings must be made before 14 February 2015.

 

4. Lose yourselves on a tall ship around Sydney Harbour

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a truly enchanting twilight sail aboard a magnificent tall ship. Spoil your partner with a delicious special dinner, as you glide across Sydney Harbour beneath the billowing sails of one of our majestic tall ships.

Departing from Campbell’s Cove, couples will cruise past all the iconic landmarks including Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Opera House, Fort Denison, Garden Island, Taronga Zoo, Luna Park and Admiralty House.

The cruise goes for 2.5 hours, with departures at 6.00pm. Cost is from $139 per adult.

 

5. Qantas Valentine’s Day offers

Qantas has special deals running for last minute Valentine’s Day planners or for those who want to pick up a Qantas Gift Voucher to spend on next year’s Valentines getaway.

The airline has economy flights from Melbourne to Adelaide selling from $115 one way or Melbourne to Sydney from $155.

Melbournites can fly to the other side of the country from $275 one way while love-birds from Darwin can head to Adelaide from $355 per person.
