Which celebrity will be at Flight Centre's 2016 Global Gathering?

The last time Flight Centre took its global achievers to Singapore they had what was dubbed 'the best time ever' at a private beach party on Sentosa Island with Fatboy Slim.

The last time Flight Centre took its global achievers to Singapore they had what was dubbed ‘the best time ever’ at a private beach party on Sentosa Island with Fatboy Slim.

That was only four years ago and people are still bragging about it.

This year, the travel group is taking its best sellers back to the Lion City in the hopes of reclaiming those laughs and potentially even topping that epic event.

But in order to do that, Flight Centre will need to find (and pay a large sum of money to) a pretty incredible, exciting, jaw dropping, oh-my-gosh-can’t-wait-see-this-person celebrity.

They’ve done an amazing job in the past with Gwyneth Paltrow dishing out some life advice at Vegas 2015, while Human Nature and One Republic brought the musical sounds; Will i Am, Jessie J and DJ Havana Brown rocked Macau 2014; and before that sexy, Cuban American rapper Pitbull spiced up Cancun 2013 (the envy cannot be described).

The KarryOn team has pulled out the drawing board and carefully put together a few suggestions as to who we think might be the big celebrity guest at this year’s event (keep in mind this is all speculation).

1. Vin Diesel

During the 2016 destination announcement, Flight Centre’s managers used the words a ‘Fast and Furious’ destination to describe Singapore.

Unless they’re planning on hosting a party on the Formula 1 race course, then we think they may be planning on inviting actor, Vin Diesel (who is one of the highest paid male actors) to speak at the Gathering.

2. Rihanna

He’s back in the spotlight right now so it COULD be him. But could you imagine if they got Rihanna AND Drake? *Dies*

4. Calvin Harris

He’s a free man now, so why not head down to Singapore and party with a bunch of gorgeous Flight Centre Agents?

5. Liam Hemsworth

His brother is all tied up with Tourism Australia, but maybe Liam wants in on the tourism action too.

Of course, if you are attending (or even just dreaming of attending) the 2016 event, you’ll need to flick through this guide of things to do and not to do.

Who do you think the surprise celebrity will be at this year’s Global Achievers?
