All fingers were crossed, breaths were held and some even said a quick prayer in the hopes that they’d walk away one of facetime Melbourne’s lucky winners.
Held last week at the Emerald Peacock, the event was not only an opportunity to socialise with peers and be among the first to try the KarryOn Kocktail, it was also a chance to walk away the winner of one of 12 generous prizes.
First, there was the Lonely Planet book giveaway, which saw eight attendees who found their ‘perfect postcard match’ receive a guide book from the iconic brand.
Following the fun pairing game, came the first lucky draw prize – a bottle of Verve Champagne from APT, which was won by Mihaela Gale from Travel Counsellor.
Then there was Katey Rayner from My Adventure Store who will be able to communicate with clients via her wrist through her new Apple Watch from Travel Counsellors.
If Christine Rutherford from Galaxy Travel & Cruise won’t need to worry about accommodation during her next getaway outside the city, thanks to those two free nights at Vibe Hotel Marysville from TFE Hotels.
And then there was the final door prize. An epic 12-day National Geographic Journeys with G Adventures – Cruise the Ganges.

But the best part was, the prize included return flights!
