After months of culling through entries and staring at delicious steaks, Brand USA, Trafalgar, United Airlines, Weber and Flight Centre’s found Australia’s BBQ Champions.

Announced yesterday morning, two guys from Adelaide – Grant Neal and Craig Philpott – took home the title and will head to the USA next month to compete against BBQ champions in the US, The Randalls, who feature as Trafalgar’s Be My Guest hosts during select tours.

Flight Centre has started taking its guests into another reality – a virtual one with new VR headsets at select Singaporean stores.

The 360-degree virtual tour will give clients the chance to get a good feel of a destination before booking.

In aviation, Virgin Australia announced its return to the Cook Islands while Qantas revealed that it would love to take passengers direct to New York.

Oh, and how funny was it when Air New Zealand ‘welcomed’ Qantas CEO Alan Joyce and American Airlines CEO Doug Parker to its fan club.

But who could forget the MASSIVE event this week – all five P&O vessels sailed into Sydney’s harbour in a truly glorious-style, giving locals a truly incredible sight.

It was an incredible feat for the cruise line because it not only boosting its presence around Australia but showcased the entire cruising sector.
